A pensioner succumbed to his injuries and died fourteen days after being 'jumped on' by a dog near the Erskine Bridge.

A woman was walking her dog and on approaching the men her dog jumped up, knocking the pensioner to the ground. Police Scotland are keen to trace the dog owner as part of their investigation into the tragedy. The force confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious. “We have a limited description of the dog, which is thought to have been approximately knee height to an adult and black in colour.
