Humza Yousaf is under pressure to reveal why three lawyers quit a vital inquiry into Scotland’s scandal-hit hospitals

.

Former Health Secretary Jeane Freeman ordered the probe after patients became infected with rare bacteria and some died at the Glasgow site. "While I recognise that one of the lawyers who resigned did so to join the Covid-19 inquiry, the point still stands that three resignations in a mere matter of weeks is greatly damaging to this inquiry. To maintain trust in this vital inquiry can I ask you to explain why the three lawyers left the inquiry.

"This inquiry is vital in uncovering the tragic series of events that led to the untimely deaths of patients - including children."We need answers over why these lawyers have quit, why the reasons have not been made public and when the families will get answers.
