The A52 has been closed due to an 'obstruction' which is leading to long queues for motorists. The Gamston Lings Bar road was shut eastbound from Melton Road atThere is congestion to the Nottingham Knight Island and the Plumtree turn-off as a result of the incident and long queues are to be expected.Traffic website Inrix stated: "A52 Gamston Lings Bar Road Eastbound. from A606 Melton Road to the Gamston District Centre turn off.
"Obstruction on the road. Road closed. Queueing traffic. The road was closed at around 4pm. Affecting traffic between the Gamston and Wheatcroft roundabouts."'Please use an alternative route'
