Paul McHugh died suddenly after coming home from the Liverpool v Everton match

An event has been planned to honour the life of a dad who died hours after coming home from the Merseyside Derby.

However the dad-of-one said he didn't feel well when he returned home and went to the walk-in centre. He went home but later that night an ambulance had to be called and he was taken to Aintree University Hospital. He died later that night. Speaking to the ECHO with Paul's mum's permission, Colin Campbell, manager at Lifestyles, said: "Paul was a friend to everyone he worked with. He was always checking in with people outside the gym and asked them to give him a call if they needed anything. He had a really positive energy and was great to be around.
