Share your opinion on the reliability and quality of bus services in Merseyside. The region's buses are set to come back into public control, allowing the combined authority to have more control over fares and routes.
The bus is an essential part of the lives of thousands of people across Merseyside . Whether it's to get into work in the morning or to go for a day trip on the weekend, most of us will regularly rely on buses.
Yet, they're not always as reliable as we want them to be, and if you ask any bus user they will probably have fresh stories to tell of times they spent waiting for buses that arrived late or didn't come at all, among other complaints.READ MORE: Win an overnight stay for five in Alton Towers Resort's fairy-tale Woodland Lodge PLUS theme park and water park tickets
Big news for the region's buses came earlier this month with the announcement they will be come back into public control across the Liverpool City Region. The region became only the second outside London to operate a publicly owned network of buses in what was branded a "momentous day." The adopted franchising model means the combined authority will have the power to set fares and routes across the six council areas. It is thought the first service owned by the people could be on the road within three years.
Do you find yourself waiting for buses that never come or are they always reliable and on time? Perhaps you use them for your commute every day, or just every once in a while - either way, we want to hear your opinions of your local bus services. Take our questionnaire above and tell us, if it doesn't appear you can take it here.
