The Great British Bake Off returned for Custard Week tonight (October 25) and sadly we had to say goodbye to one more baker.
Due to the frozen nature of the challenge, and to stop the ice cream from melting as Prue and Paul went along the judging table, the ice creams were individually taken to judges as the staggered finish times ended.
For this week's Showstopper challenge, bakers had to create an impressive set custard gateau, and Syabira wowed judges with her flavours, taking home Star Baker for the second week running, while Kevin was sent home."I'm very sad to see Kevin go," said Prue."I think he's invented something wonderful," she added of Kevin's custard. The Great British Baking Show, hosted by Tom Allen and Jo Brand, airs on Fridays at 8pm on Channel 4.
