The two-day event will feature live music, den building, bug houses, special wildlife shows and more
The zoo’s Wildlife Connections Festival will feature a jam-packed line-up, headlined by one of the UK’s best-known children’s TV presenters, Naomi Wilkinson.
No pre-booking is required with guests encouraged to turn up across the weekend. It's open from 11.30am to 4.30pm on both days. The festival does not give access to the zoo itself. She added: "It promises to be a fun-filled weekend, packed with a whole host of activities. As well as all of the amazing speakers and stage shows, there’ll be live music, wild workshops, parades, face painting, nature activities such as bug bungalow building and bird spotting and much more besides.
"We’ll therefore be giving our festival-goers lots of ideas and inspiration on what they can do to help turn things around for nature. We can’t wait to welcome everyone to what’s sure to be a fantastic, wildlife-inspired weekend.”
