The train operator has launched a flash sale with over five million cheaper tickets available for journeys across the north west
Northern Rail are offering train tickets for as little just 50p from Manchester to destinations like Chester, Liverpool and Knutsford.
Passengers could travel throughout September and October and pre-book tickets to places like Liverpool and Chester, direct from Manchester, for 50p a ticket.Examples of the slashed-priced journeys include Manchester Piccadilly to Altrincham, Chester, Liverpool, Knutsford, Crewe and Preston. From Manchester Victoria, passengers can travel to the likes of Stalybridge, Southport and Bradford.
Mark Powles, commercial and customer director at Northern, said: “With five million tickets up for grabs, there’s a Flash Sale route and service for everyone – be that for a day out at the weekend or some late-night shopping in town.
