Officials from Liverpool Council visited the site today
Drivers have been urged to avoid Queens Drive as an investigation into the death of a husband and wife in flooding continues.
Work is now underway in the area to investigate how levels of flood water managed to pool under the railway bridge. Officers understood to be from Liverpool Council visited Queens Drive this morning as part of preliminary enquiries.
