The 1000th tenants to move into North Airdrie new-build council housing helped celebrate the landmark by sharing the home comforts of their net-zero surroundings.

Their net-zero home is one of 11 properties at the Airdrie development constructed to “present no additional carbon to the environment” by using renewable energy and maximising efficiency.
