Around £234 million of private investment has been made in North Lanarkshire over the last three years, with more than £100 million of that over the last year alone. Councillor Jim Logue, Leader of North Lanarkshire Council said, “There is no shortage of positive things to say about North Lanarkshire’s economy. Business numbers are growing, employment levels are up and investment levels are high.
