What do you think of the news that Google is 'winding down' Google Stadia?
Google is"winding down" its Xbox Cloud Gaming competitor Google Stadia, with the service to close next January. Google will also refund Stadia hardware purchases from the Google Store and content purchases from the Stadia store.
Google has confirmed that the end is in sight for its Stadia service, with users able to play until January 18th, 2023. Google Stadia's vice president and general manager Phil Harrison has confirmed that Stadia hardware purchases from the Google Store wil be refunded, as will content purchases from the Stadia store. Harrison says Google expects to have"the majority of refunds completed" by the middle of January 2023.
