Text commentary as Ireland face Samoa in their final World Cup warm-up game at the Stade Jean Dauger in Bayonne.

Former Wales international on Amazon Prime

With the wet conditions tonight both sides are putting in quite a lot of high kicks with a pressure chase to keep the back three on their toes. The ball is greasy and there have been a couple of times Samoa have made a line-break and they would be better keeping the ball in hand rather than trying to keep it alive.

Both sides have made a few handling errors which is hardly surprising. You have to be sensible and patient when it comes to retaining the ball in these conditions.
