Residents have raised concerns about anti-social behaviour
A wanted man was arrested near a popular cycling and walking spot in south Manchester after residents raised concerns about anti-social behaviour.
Police patrols were stepped up near the Fallowfield Loop in Levenshulme last night following reports of drug use and drug dealing in the area. Officers arrested the wanted man near to Broom Lane and Crayfield Road. The 24-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply, dangerous driving and disqualified driving. He was taken into police custody.
"This has resulted in a 24 year old male being arrested as he was wanted by police for Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply, Dangerous Driving and Disqualified Driving. He was also in possession of drugs this evening and was arrested for this. "He remains in police custody.
