There simply isn’t a club in England who can afford Mbappe fairly. Manchester City and Newcastle could unfairly, but it’s vanishingly unlikely that they would be able to overcome the FFP outcry that would result, and neither club have any desire to create a reason to have their accounts forensically scrutinised.So that only leaves Real Madrid and Barcelona in Europe.
