The Watford Observer understands papers were set to be served yesterday

“Officers from the Oxhey Safer Neighbourhood Team are continuing to monitor the situation while liaising with the landowner, Three Rivers District Council,” the force added.

The council did not go into detail on exactly what it was doing but did confirm it is aware of the situation “and is dealing with it”. It is understood that papers were set to be served yesterday, and the travellers are expected to move out of the area tomorrow . In 2016, travellers set up in the former Little Furze School site in South Oxhey and in 2019 a group encamped in Prestwick Road.
