Six out of seven councils bordering London have refused put up signs warning motorists about the Ulez
3 August 2023, 14:31All but one council bordering London has blocked the installation of signs which would alert motorists of the ultra low emissions zone.
Activists stage a protest outside Royal Courts of Justice before the high court judge ruled in favor of Sadiq Khan's Ulez expansion.The Home Counties that blocked the Ulez road signs are Surrey, Kent and Essex County Council and Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Thurrock Council. The Tory leader of Slough Borough Council told The Telegraph: “As an administration, we are vehemently opposed to the implementation of the ULEZ scheme, and we will do all we can to support Slough residents through this.
