Yesterday, France's defence ministry also announced that it was boosting its support on NATO's eastern flank by sending more tanks to Romania, Rafale fighter jets to Lithuania and infantry to Estonia. In his address, Mr Zelenskyy said that increased financial support from international donors would help end Russia's devastating war in Ukraine more quickly. The country's infrastructure ministry said Moldova was experiencing a deficit of between 50 and 100 megawatts following Kyiv's move.
