First up for McKenna is this month's huge IBO World welterweight title fight against Nicholas Esposito
Tyrone McKenna accepts a mouth-watering clash with Lewis Crocker would be "massive" for Belfast - but insists his only focus is on Nicholas Esposito on September 16.
Crocker insists he is more than ready for what would be a massive domestic dust-up, and McKenna says two Belfast boxers fighting for a world title in their home city would be "unbelievable". "I do think they would have to bring a good offer to the table. I will be ahead of Lewis Crocker and that fight would be a step back. I will be looking for bigger fights and bigger names in the world.
McKenna has faced some of the world's best during his career, including Regis Prograis and Jack Catterall. "I love those local rivalries. I have fought about five Irish fighters and remain undefeated, so I am the king of Ireland. "The guy I am fighting is 17-0 and undefeated, and he is coming to Dublin to upset the applecart. I have to focus on him and that's what I am doing," McKenna said.
