Police have launched a murder investigation.
Police in Northern Ireland have launched a murder inquiry following the death of a man who was stabbed in Co Tyrone at the weekend.
Conor Browne, 28, from the Strabane area, was attacked outside a bar on Main Street in Castlederg on Saturday.Prior to Mr Browne’s death, police had made three arrests in the investigation.A 27-year-old man has since been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Castlederg Gaelic Athletic Association club Caislean na Deirge Naomh Eoghan expressed its sadness in a social media post.“Conor always wore the biggest smile and would have done anything for anyone. One of the real good guys! This has affected everyone in the parish. If anyone needs help or someone to talk to just pm this page and we will get you to the right resources,” it said, extending condolences to his family.
