Yvonne Holland visited villages, towns and cities all across the UK whilst on her fundraising walk.
An Ayrshire woman has completed an epic challenge of walking 1250 miles from John O’Groats to Land’s End in 101 days.
Yvonne coined in thousands for three charities close to her heart - Christian Aid, Enable and Diabetes UK - after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes last year. “I decided to take a career break from my job as a project manager for four months to realise this ambition in 2023 and I wanted to prove to myself that I could still achieve great things despite having this disease.”
“And most of all, I’ve taken life a day at a time, at a steady walking pace. There is lots to reflect on as I prepare to return to my old life.
