Rory's dad Mickey suffered a serious farming accident in 2021
A Co Tyrone man along with two friends has raised enough funds to fund the Air Ambulance charity for three days after it helped his father recover from a serious accident.
“It was around Christmas time when my wife Christine suggested the idea and got me registered," Rory said. The trio raised £19,380 for the charity with the fundraiser, enough for it to sustain its vital services for three full days. "It was a great feeling to cross the finish line and to know that we had raised so much for this exceptional charity.”
