'Broke my heart'... Touching tributes left at scene where 18-year-old killed in hit-and-run
Touching floral tributes have been placed at the scene in Trafford where a teenager was killed in a hit-and-run.
Police confirmed the incident was a hit-and-run with the driver leaving the scene. Yesterday, an 18-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.Police believe the victim climbed onto the bonnet of a vehicle - a grey Ford Ka - and was driven across the junction of Dunham Road onto Booth Road. He fell from the bonnet and tragically sustained fatal injuries.
Following the incident yesterday, a forensic tent was erected on the road while multiple streets were cordoned off by police officers. Residents said they woken by the sound of sirens in the early hours.
