Susan Hall has been selected as the Conservative party's 2024 London mayoral candidate to face Sadiq Khan.

Ms Hall said: "The central part of my campaign will be around policing because people do not feel safe in London and I've got lots of policies that will be coming out in order to make people feel safe." Asked if she had confidence in the Metropolitan Police's Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley, Ms Hall said: "Yes I do and I would really want to work with him. I want to be part of the solution.Meanwhile, Tory MP Caroline Nokes has told LBC News that Sadiq Khan's claim that Susan Hall "doesn't stick up for women" is "nonsense".
The Tory Women and Equalities Committee chair has passed on her congratulations to the new Conservative mayoral candidate.
