The council has issued a warning ahead of a busy fireworks event.
Hundreds are expected to gather at Strathclyde Country Park on Sunday, November 5 for Bonfire Night celebrations.
Guests are urged to either arrive early, travel by public transport or park further away and walk to the event.The bonfire will be lit at 5.30pm while the fireworks display starts at 6.30pm.Parking is available at Hamilton Palace Sports Grounds and Low Parks Museum, South Lanarkshire Council's overflow car park at the rear of Aldi, Keith Street and High Patrick Street.The tunnel from Hamilton into the park will be open until 6.
