A new coffee shop could be coming to North East Lincolnshire
It is expected to create 20 full-time jobs. Land off Village Way next to Beechwood Farm Dining and Carvery is proposed to be turned from brownfield into a coffee shop with drive thru.
Dovetail Architects make the case for the café in an application document: “Construction of a modern, well designed drive thru café in an accessible location will help boost the local economy by creating employment and may attract other businesses to the area as well as enhancing the built quality of the area."
It comes after permission was granted on appeal in spring for a retail park with Starbucks drive-thru in Kingsway, Scunthorpe. Last September, planning approval was also given to a Starbucks drive-thru in Laceby.
