Snow has started falling across Greater Manchester as temperatures have continued to plummet. A light dusting of snow began falling over Manchester - in both the city centre and Oldham on Thursday evening .
A yellow weather warning was issued across the region from Thursday until Sunday, with the Met Office alerting that sub-zero temperatures could mean frost and ice and possibly disruption. The region has already been experiencing cold conditions, with temperatures no higher than 2C expected over the coming days.Videos taken in Manchester city centre and in Oldham have shown a light falling of snow, with many taking to social media to share the news., bringing abnormally freezing temperatures for this time of year.
