Elton John sang a special tribute to Kate Garraway and her husband Derek at his latest show on his farewell tour ❤️
On Wednesday’s Good Morning Britain, 55-year-old Kate spoke about the tear-jerking moment Sir Elton, 76, dedicated Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me to her family and footage of the incredible moment was also played.
Kate explained that herself, 55-year-old Derek and their kids were left in ‘floods of tears’ and revealed Sir Elton had actually encouraged her to bring Derek – who Kate has been caring for since he contracted a severe case ofSpeaking on Wednesday morning, Kate explained to GMB viewers: ‘We managed to get Derek to see Elton play, and that was Elton’s goal because he’s been so supportive throughout.She added: ‘So that was enough, we were crying from the second we walked in to the 02.
‘They’ve been inspiring and they’ve never given up. I want to dedicate this song especially to you guys.’
