Caroline lives in Blackpool and has four-year-old twins that's she's raising on her own
A single mum of two twins has opened up on the hardships of having the children two months premature and feeling 'completely isolated' by going through the journey alone.
"Everything is still so tiny, from being premature that her body just can't cope with it. Otherwise she's fine." Caroline said that she became single on the day she did her pregnancy test. She said: "My son had a low-lying placenta and it caused a lot of bleeding in the pregnancy. The first time it happened, I didn't know about the low-lying placenta, nobody did. I went to the hospital, thinking I was losing them as the bleeding was that bad."
Headed by Darwen dad Ste Walker the group is dubbed 'Solo Parents United North West' and offers support for single parents and creating a community together where they can speak to each other, share their thoughts and support one another.
