Tesco is offering shoppers a special coronation 'banquet' of oven chips, pizza, cheese and apples
Shoppers have ridiculed a Tesco special offer for customers to have a ‘coronation banquet’. The line-up for the meal to celebrate King Charles III’s rise to the throne might be considered by some to be underwhelming.
Tesco then unveils the slap-up feed for anyone celebrating the coronation - oven chips, a Margherita pizza, cheddar cheese and some apples. Jo Holland replied saying: “That is not a banquet!!!! Or perhaps it is to us peasants.
"Thankfully asda had a whole row of flags, tea towels, bunting, british party themed items etc... such a let down tesco. You did the same for the queen’s platinum jubilee.”
