Here’s how his green sentiments will be reflected through the coronation, from his regal robes all the way down to the invitations.The sacred oil used to anoint the King has been made using cruelty-free ingredients. Previous versions have included civet oil from the glands of the small mammals and ambergris from the intestines of whales.

Olives have been used that were grown on the Mount of Olives at the Monastery of Mary Magdalene, which is where the King’s grandmother, Princess Alice, is buried.a term invented in the 20th century to describe the foliate heads commonly seen carved into medieval churches across the country. “The shape of the Green Man, crowned in natural foliage, is formed of leaves of oak, ivy and hawthorn, and the emblematic flowers of the United Kingdom.”
