A59 live traffic updates as serious crash closes Samlesbury road near BAE Systems
A major road in Lancashire is closed in both directions this morning following a 'serious' crash.near to BAE Systems. The incident was first reported by Lancashire Constabulary at 5.48am today .
Officers say that the closure is expected to remain in place 'for some time' between the junction with Preston New Road to Mellor Brook. Motorists are being urged to 'avoid the area' and find an alternative route.
