Having previously described her struggles as “a battle I’m going to have to face for the rest of my life”, the film is set to chart her experience of “unimaginable stardom” before “an unexpected turn pulls her into darkness” in a “uniquely raw and intimate” way, according to its synopsis.just a couple of weeks ago, Gomez wrote: “My Mind & Me. We don’t get along sometimes and it gets hard to breathe…But I wouldn’t change my life.
And now, we finally have a more in depth look at the upcoming documentary with a brand new trailer. Released on, the trailer is a moving look at the star’s life, from the highs of being on stage and around friends to being in bed with mascara running down her cheeks. “I am grateful to be alive,” she shares.
She goes on to discuss not feeling “good enough” since she was a child, as well as the human need for empathy and connection, something that helps her “get out of my head”, as she explains.
