The Parkhead icon was the toast of the Town last season but a grim start to their League One campaign has cost him his job.
Scott Brown has been sacked by Fleetwood Town after a winless start to their League One campaign - just two months after signing a new contract at the Lancashire club.
A statement read: “Fleetwood Town can confirm Head Coach Scott Brown has left the club with immediate effect. Following a difficult run of results the club reluctantly felt now is the right time to make a change to the First Team management.
