Football Insider understands that Leeds United midfielder Darko Gyabi is now set to join Swansea City after they hijacked Fleetwood's deal.

Swansea City have made a late move to hijack Fleetwood’s deal for Leeds United starThe midfielder, 19, had agreed to join Fleetwood on loan, and the transfer was all but done.The Swans are looking to strengthen their midfield late into the window and pounced quickly to try and secure Gyabi’s signature.

Gyabi also featured for 45 minutes against Shrewsbury Town in the League Cup, but Daniel Farke appears to favour the midfield duo of Archie Gray and Ethan Ampadu.Gyabi arrived at Elland Road last summer as an exciting prospect, with his move tied in with the sale of Kalvin Phillips to Manchester City.
