The Down CCC has handed down a number of suspensions to Saval following their controversial loss to Glenn in last Sunday’s Championship opener at Burren.
Saval lost 1-11 to 1-9 to their local rivals and finished the game with 11 players on the pitch while Glenn had two players black carded late on as they finished with 13 players on the pitch.After receiving Michael Moore’s report from the game, the Down CCCC recommended a 96-week ban for Johnny Hughes.
Declan McNally has also been hit with a two-game suspension while Keelan Rice and David Hughes, who didn’t feature in the game, have received 12-week bans for verbal abuse of an official.
