Shoppers have had to battle a range of rising prices recently due to the cost of living crisis.
Sainsbury's customers have been left floored over the price of a box of frozen fish fingers, with one saying the astronomical price made them "fall to their knees".
And now the price of another household staple has caused outrage among shoppers, with an 840g box of Birds Eye 30 Cod Fish Fingers being sold at £7 in Sainsbury's. Some even shared their shock at what other products were costing them, with someone explaining: “I paid £3.80 for @Warburtons gluten free wraps yesterday- it would be cheaper to live off mc ds at this rate. There’s 5 wraps in there. Sickening.”Another replied: “Yes. Especially at that volume.”
