Supermarket shoppers have voiced their frustration at how much a pack of fish fingers could cost them. Over the last few months shoppers have seen food prices increasing in supermarkets, and now Sainsbury's customers are stunned that a pack of fish fingers could cost them £7 for a packet.
One Sainsbury's shopper wrote on Twitter that after seeing the price they “nearly fell to my knees." Another user simply wrote: “£7? Jesus soon reach."A third commented: “I remember when this was £3.50. Wow.” A fourth replied: “Sainsbury’s absolutely bugging.”
