Former Leeds Rhinos legend Rob Burrow and his wife Lindsay have revealed the incredible response they have had to the star's recent documentary on his battle against Motor Neuron Disease at the opening of a powerful new exhibition.
The exhibition titled '7 Stories of Motor Neuron Disease' showcases the impact of the disease on seven different people. It will tour across key locations in Leeds to help raise awareness and fund for Leeds Hospitals Charity's appeal to build the new Rob Burrow Centre for MND.Rob's wife, Lindsay Burrow spoke to LeedsLive about the importance of the exhibition and what the response has been since the heartbreaking documentary showing Rob's life with MND on TV.
"The response to the documentary has been incredible, we've always said if we can help one other person or family that's important to us. Rob wanted to showcase the effect MND has not just on the individual but on the family as well. We wanted to show there is still hope and still positivity.
