Rossendale residents 'not taken seriously on death trap road desperate for speed cameras'
More than 300 people have signed a petition asking for cameras to be installed at a ‘speeding hotspot’ in Rossendale, which has prompted a meeting with the Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner.
“Residents feel as though this is not being taken seriously. There is a range of measures available to address speeding but it seems that very little is being done here.” Local police officer, Lauren Fishwick and Police Community Support Officer, Beth Thompson will be in attendance. It is expected that a large number of concerned residents will also be joining the meeting.
