Furious residents of Darwen say they have been left without water for over 24 hours after a burst pipe causes havoc in the area.
Areas affected by water outages include Darwen Aldridge Community Academy on Sudell Road and Darwen Aldridge Enterprise Studio on Police Street, although United Utilities have claimed the issue at DAES is due to a separate, unrelated leak.Kerry Duval has been without water since 3pm yesterday , she told LancsLive: "I've had three water deliveries, so we're having to watch what water we've using so it lasts us.
