The Southport Air Show schedule for this year includes the Red Arrows, RAF Typhoon, Spitfire and more
The air show is taking place on Saturday, September 9 to Sunday, September 10. Over the two days, the exciting schedule includes BBMF Lancaster, Spitfire an Hurricane, RAF Typhoon, Slingsby T-67 Firefly and Spitfire - Rolls Royce.
There will be plenty of specular shows over both days of the weekend festival, however, the much loved Red Arrows will only be taking part on Saturday, September 9. Those who are hoping to watch the exciting display, should keep their eyes to the sky at around midday, when the The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, will perform at 12pm.With an iconic combination of close formation flying and dynamic loops and rolls, the team has been displaying since 1965.
Along the Pier, beach and prom there will be a variety of attractions on the ground. This includes mini tanks, bungee trampolines, land zorbs, bumper cars, simulators, a paintball range and replica Spitfire 'Lucy'. It’s too late to buy early bird and advanced tickets for the Southport Air Show, but full price tickets are available, they can be purchased here.
