Firefighters and police officers are understood to have scrambled to St Andrews Roman Catholic Secondary School this morning after parents reported a 'possible gas leak' at the premises.

Pupils were evacuated from their classrooms on Monday morning as emergency services descended to the scene following an 'unidentified smell'.

Firefighters and police officers are understood to have scrambled to Saint Andrew's Roman Catholic Secondary School, on Torphin Crescent, this morning. Parents reported a "possible gas leak" at the premises. Police Scotland confirmed they were in attendance at the incident which unfolded at around 11.15am. The school was evacuated as a precaution.
