North Taproom will showcase the brewery's core range, alongside an ever-changing line-up of beers, wines and cocktails

A huge brewery taproom will open its doors in Manchester next year - and it’s sooner than you might think. Leeds-based brewery, North Brewing Co, will open its doors on Oxford Road in January - the tenth venue for the brand.

North Taproom will be housed within a modern glass building, and will showcase the brand’s core range, alongside an ever-changing line-up of beers, wines, cocktails, ciders and spirits from a range of local and international producers. Seating 100 people, plus a further 30 standing, there will also be an outside terrace area overlooking the green event space at Circle Square.“Our new bar in Manchester marks a huge milestone for all of us at North,” said brewery co-founder John Gyngell.

The bar will boast 24 draught lines including 18 lines of keg beer, and the taproom will collaborate with a number of other local breweries including Manchester’s Track Brewing to celebrate the opening of the new bar. Alongside beers, visitors will also be able to enjoy North’s house-made negroni, a rotating selection of cocktails, as well as wine and fizz.

North Brewing Co’s Head of Marketing, Sarah Hardy said: “We are ridiculously excited to finally announce the opening date of our taproom at Circle Square in Manchester. Manchester is one of our favourite cities in the world, and has provided North with so much inspiration from its thriving food and drink scene. We’re joining an incredible line up of bars and taprooms in the city, and can’t wait to be part of the growth of the new Circle Square development.
