A proposal to transform a former masonic hall and police station in Sale into 30 affordable homes has been approved.
The development will consist of ten houses ranging from 1, 2, and 3-bedroom homes, along with nine 3-bedroom apartments and eleven 2-bedroom apartments. All properties will be available for shared ownership.Public consultations over the plans were said to have generated positive responses over the scheme with three-quarters of respondents being in favour of the development.
Lucy Hampson, Development Manager at Southway Housing Trust, said: “We are delighted that our revised plans for this sustainable residential development have been approved by Trafford Borough Council.
