Officers are looking to trace a man after a woman was reportedly harassed at a tram stop. On Tuesday, September 12, a woman was sitting alone at the David Lane tram stop in Old Basford, when she was approached by a man around 9:40pm.
He asked her several times to come back with him to his house, prompting the woman to get up and leave after feeling uncomfortable. The man then got on board the tram shortly afterwards, and was then reportedly seen getting off at the Radford Road tram stop in Hyson Green. Officers are looking to trace the individual in the photo, as they believe he may have information that could help them with their investigations.Sergeant Emma O’Meara, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was an upsetting incident for the victim, who was left feeling extremely uncomfortable after being repeatedly approached by someone she didn’t know.
“The harassment of any person no matter their gender will be taken extremely seriously by the police and will be investigated thoroughly.” Anyone with any information or who recognises the man in the image is asked to contact the police on 101, quoting incident 794 of 12 September 2023.
