A worker employed at a children's home in Bamber Bridge claimed wages were unlawfully withheld when he was suspended after an incident in which he was accused of putting young people at "significant risk of harm".
Although Mr Fuller received training on the job, and was required by the council to undertake the NVQ Level 2 childcare course, at the time he started working at Eden Bridge he had "no relevant qualifications or experience of working in a children’s care home", the employment tribunal documents reveal. He was paid just £10.97 an hour.
The investigation later concluded that due to the evidence and mitigation Mr Fuller could return to work at Eden Bridge. He returned to work in June 2021.
