Defining the NASCAR playoff “bubble drivers” is an odd thing. Sure, you’ve got Bubba Wallace with a 32-point lead over Ty Gibbs for the 16th and final spot in the playoff field. Those fit the traditional description of a competitor on the playoff bubble, since they’re hovering around the cutline heading into the final regular-season race.
So who are the most likely drivers to earn that last spot in the playoffs after the checkered flag flies on the regular season?
