Nottingham Forest ace Fin Back is set to make a return after having to manage the workload at the start of the season.
The 20-year-old joined Carlisle United on loan for a second successive season and has played in the opening two opening games against Fleetwood and Oxford United respectively. Forest meanwhile, advised that Carlisle managed the youngster's workload after sustaining hamstring injuries last season. He had been in fine form for the now League One outfit before picking up the injury which required surgery. Back recently missed out on the defeat at Harrogate Town in the Carabao Cup and the draw against Wigan in midweek.
Having honoured Forest's wishes, boss Paul Simpson says Back will now be considered available for the upcoming games, provided he is fit. "It’s not that Forest have said he isn’t allowed to play, they’re just advising us not to play him," he said.
Back made three senior appearances for Forest in their Championship campaign during the 2021/22 season and featured twice in the Carabao Cup that same year.
