A mum-of-two was gobsmacked when her young daughter ordered a pizza without her permission
A struggling single mum was left in tears when her kids ordered pizza without her knowing - only for the kind-hearted delivery man to leave her £40 despite admitting he too suffered financial 'difficulties'.
Overwhelmed, Francesca shared the good deed online, where it has received more than 20,000 likes, comments and shares. Speaking out about his heart-warming gesture, the delivery driver has since admitted that their story 'broke his heart' as he has children himself and made the generous decision despite being in 'a difficult situation' himself.
"I was just crying to the delivery man, I was in floods of tears saying 'I'm so sorry'. That's how broke we were." Francesca, who is currently studying psychology at the Open University, said: "I was crying my eyes out [on the phone]. I said 'I'm not gonna rip you off' and promised I'd get them £20 tomorrow.
